Assignment #5 Design a strategy for training and assessment of PBLI, in your teams. Use a case as illustration, if possible. If not, describe and outline the strategy you plan to employ.
For the final project, we are asking you to each work independently to design a class focused on one single competency. The class is to include the major elements listed below in blue. We would like you to read at least one of the other class member submissions, you have been assigned to one submission for your comments and critique. Pay particular attention to the dates listed.
The "class" can be in any format, ranging from a discussion group, rounds, grand rounds, single conference, to ongoing part of a curriculum. (Not improv). Please start by telling us what format the "class" is, with a brief description of it. You should also include the purpose of the class and who the learners are.
Develop a class for your learners in which one of the competencies is taught and assessed. Include Goals, Learning Objectives, Content to be included, Teaching and learning strategies, and Evaluation of learners as well as of the course. How will you evaluate outcomes of the session both for the learners and of the teaching itself?
Post your class plan on the Wiki by March 20. (Thanks for doing that.) You will need to create a page for your plan.
However, when you have posted yours, it is not over, please read one those of the others. (Assignments are listed below).
Please read everyone's final project, and critique and add your comments. Complete and post the critique (review, comments) , by March 25 on the same page.
Reviewers of class:
We will have Elluminate brief presentations and discussions on April 3 at 5:25 PM and on April 10 at 5:25 PM, if needed. (It is not likely we will need class on April 17).
The class presentations by each student will be on March 27, April 3, [10 (if necessary)], starting at 5:25 PM. Plan on 5 minutes to present and 5 minutes of discussion each.
Place your project on a page (you will need to create one) and put it in the folder labelled: 1 Final Class Assignment.
